Had to try out this technique, so this was my first attempt. Expect me to get the hang of this and really have fun creating some unique images.

Metaphorical Reflection – Underwater and Above
2 01 2010It’s not often that such prolific coral grows so close to the surface. I was awestruck when I visualized an image of the trees above the water’s surface peering down at the magical trees beneath. Metaphorical reflections of mimicry.

Giant Underwater Image
14 11 2009I just returned from the DEMA Show, which is the annual trade show for the scuba diving industry. Greeting all of the attendees was a giant ad for Curacao Tourism that graced the front entrance to the Orlando convention center. It was a great use of outdoor ad space by Curacao Tourism! It was also the largest I have ever seen one of my images printed. Coolness factor – 10+

Wendy is actually the silhouetted diver in the ad, and as you can see she is sitting here just under it. The silhouette is basically life size. This is a BIG print!

Underwater Geisha Images Feature in German Dive Magazine
21 10 2009My underwater Geisha series was featured as a main 6 page spread in the largest dive magazine in Europe this month – the German magazine Unterwasser. This particular dive magazine always has outstanding photography, and although I don’t understand the words, I enjoy browsing through it regularly because of the imagery. I hope this month that the readers of Unterwasser enjoy my conceptual underwater photography.
